Long time no Launch!!!
It has been awhile, hasn't it my little multi-dimensional beanpods! LaunchPad has taken a little hiatus while one of our members completes his invention to completely deactivate the so called superstructures of american corporate culture.
We are grateful for all his hard work.

I've arranged a Myspace profile for us as well. Check it out. There's some good info and fun connections to other cool musicians!

Random's Log. Subject: Black Forest 1/6/05
REPOST FROM MR. RANDOM'S BLOG OF RANDOMNESS:
1/7 (1:36am): Wow, such a lovely audience tonight at Black Forest. What a perfect gig. I'm proud to say that Mr. Random's old friends were in abundance! The Walkers, The Hiatts, The Caspers, St. Michael, Bunny....you really warmed my heart. I also saw Abulikah, Marilyn, Clark, Tina, Sleeve, Joey, Jared, all the Ginger Hustlers (Gina, V, Thom, Bird), Carl, Kirsten & Tony, a KWVA listener named Eric who introduced himself and said he liked my show. Orbital Dave and lelu both had friends who came from Portland to see us. Hey, I guess I did too...Bunny!! Thanks Billy & Chuck & Regina & George & Tami & Isaac & the drummer from Deke Falcon & wow there were a lot of people I didn't know, as well, and probably some I do know but forgot to mention. [LATER: I found out that Troy & Andy & Ryan, who are coworkers of Mrs. Random, also were there...thanks guys!!] As I said, a very nice audience and very attentive, too! I guess part of me is always amazed that people love our music so much. Is it because it's improvised? I mean, I guess I don't expect people to relate that easily to our "noise" although lelu and O.Dave are just plain sexy enough to watch no matter what kinds of sounds they are making. Yowza! Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I'm thrilled that so many people are interested in our "experimental" music (that's how the Weekly had us labeled in the club listings--thanks, Isaac.) "Science Fiction" is really a good genre/label for our music. We are a Science Fiction band. But fuck avant-gardism... our goal remains: get people to dance. We have the fucking beats. We just need the right atmospheric vibration. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to be there when it happens.
